Mod organizer 2.1.3 not downloading from nexus
I just downloaded version 1. Reading the Nexus forum it looks like there are other issues that have been introduced. We may want to sit tight for a while.
Well, since I can't read everything everywere all of the time, also thanks for GSDFan for pointing out Tannin author of Mod Organizer seems to be working on this peculiar and particular download error. With that in mind - if anyone is reading here, don't worry about testing the mods I listed above, because it appears it should be fixed in an update within a week or two. For the time being, I can confirm that for any mods which give the error, a manual download, then placing it into MO 's mod download folder, and updating the meta-data using the right-click "Query Info" feature seems to work fine.
Tried your Mods listed in Post 6 and I too get the same error. But Keith, I can still pick the other servers from around the world. So maybe try going back to the default settings in MO. Quickest help I ever got! The same problem at least until now happens with the new 0. And this fix doesn't solve the problem. There's not a fix yet. If Query Fails , Do this:. I have the paths all set up properly, I have my Nexus account properly associated, I clicked the globe icon to bring up the nexus webpage in Firefox but whenever I click on the Download with Manager link for a mod, absolutely nothing happens. No error message, nothing.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any ideas how to get it fixed? I was just going to go for manual downloads but then i saw a thread on these forums about how that may be a bad idea because it forces MO to try to identify the mod by it's name only since it wasn't downloaded with all the appropriate metadata, which could lead to problems further down the road. Any help would be much appreciated!
I use manual downloads most of the time because their speed tends to be faster and also downloads via MO often won't start which is a nexus server issue. Manual downloading is not a problem at all. Only difference is to retrieve the version info really, but you can easily add that in yourself.
