Utorrent torrents dont download until i restart app

I still wanted to seed and all but now when I re-add the torrent, It starts downloading the torrent all over again even thought all the data is there. How can I go about fixing this?

Any help would be appreciated! For starters, my upload is limited to 15 KB and my download to 80 KB. I am on a 1 MBit connection. I am not using a proxy server. Under "Bandwidth", the Global maximum number of connections i , maximum number of connected peers per torrent is 50, and the number of upload slots per torrent is 4. The box for "Use additional upload slots Under "BitTorrent" all boxes are checked except for "Limit local peer bandwidth". I have protocol encryption set to "forced" with the "allow incoming legacy connection" checked.

Under "Queuing" I have the "Maximum number of active torrents" set to 8, and the number is of active downloads as 5.

Remaining boxes are unchecked, the ration number is "" and the other is "0". Seeing that the "Advanced" tab has a lot of settings, let me know which one you want me to report, and I would be happy to do so. You may have some hostile software on your computer that just added itself recently causing your problems.

Use Process Explorer and HijackThis! I have pretty much the same problem. New torrents just keep updating tracker forever, but works instantly after restart. I think this problem occurs because of very many existing torrents in my utorrent which I'm seeding, about Though I'm actually usually uploading about torrent and bandwith should not be the problem, because it is nearly never at maximum usage. Maybe there should be some "force tracker update" feature or new torrent tracker updating could be highest priority by default.

I have the same problem qBittorrent version 4. For me Magnet links do not work at all, I have to "copy link location", then go to qbittorrent, press add torrent from link, see that the link is filled out, and press OK After OK, the download starts, it does not stall.

Answer 1 of 2 : Step 1 - Delete the torrent in uTorrent.

Step 2 - Restart the download marking the same directory location as the previous download. That should do the trick. I moved the torrent and the download back to the default download location, but when I try to verify, T refuses -- it shows the download which is a folder as being empty.

It isn't -- I checked and everything's there.
